Glass Shower Doors Are Easier to Clean
Glass doors have a smooth surface, and while easy to wipe down most customers do not do it every single time they shower. Creating hard water spots. Say goodbye to spotted shower doors with a protective (added coating) to the glass which helps repeal water and resists soap scum build-up. We use Diamon-Fusion (keeps glass surfaces beautiful for longer) or Invisible Shield. Both do exactly the same job, to repell water spots, stop water from staining the glass, and soap scum build-up on the glass. How does Diamon-Fusion Work? “At a microscopic level, glass is actually rough. Glass allows minerals from hard water, soap scum, and other contaminants to penetrate the surface, causing unsightly stains. Diamon-Fusion is patented, an applied process by our installers (when purchased with the cost of your shower install) that chemically seals the glass filling in peaks and valleys of the surface.” We recommend only “SprayAway Glass Cleaner” or an ammonia-free glass cleaner so that you do not strip away the applied protection. We do recommend that you still squeegee after routine use to help this applied application last longer. With proper care your glass shower doors can look beautiful for decades to come, without the wear and tear that plagues plastics or fabricated alternatives to glass.
